Native Landscapes Management & Consulting
Native Landscapes does noxious weed spraying and management.
Bradley Wigginton is the former Sustainability Director
for Gunnison County, and his company was hired by our HOA Board
to control noxious and invasive weeds.
However, individual homeowners can directly contract services
to maintain their homesite and lot.

Mountain Tree Scapes
Mountain Tree Scapes specializes in tree services (thinning, clearing)
toward both forest health and defensible space.
Scott Sorensen and Mountain Treescapes
have been working with the Red Mountain Board
and the Colorado State Forest Service
in our efforts to fight the mountain pine beetle,
to remove diseased or dead trees along our roadways,
and to improve egress and access for the fire department and residents.
They can also be contracted by individual homeowners
but remember that all work must be submitted to the Board for approval.

Wildfire Mitigation & Defensible Space
Colorado Safe Lands Ltd.
Wind-blown embers cause the vast majority of wildfire home losses,
and protecting your home takes a comprehensive community effort.
Jack Clark and his team at Colorado Safe Lands
help community members cover all the bases.
They handle science-based structural home hardening
along with complete, ecologically mindful defensible space creation – ensuring properties work in perfect harmony
with the overarching CSFS forest health projects.
Crucially for 2026's new insurance laws,
they also provide official mitigation documentation options
that insurers need to see to keep your coverage secure
and give your home a stamp of approval.

Homeowners’ Property Insurance
Private Client Select
Zach Zwerin happened to be reviewing my property
on the day of our Stewardship Meeting.
He was so pleased to see that representatives from the Forest Service
and the Fire Protection District, along with the Federal Forester,
were in attendance and so impressed with the work Red Mountain Ranch
has done with the CSFS toward pine beetle mitigation
and the multiyear work on fire mitigation
that he sent a positive report to our insurer, AIG, about our property
and about the commitment of the Red Mountain Ranch community.
